Stuck in a jar cant get out covered in bugs. Here comes the cook to feed the ship with a disgusting biscuit with a brew. Slayers love me and all my friends because we all crawl on every biscuit they eat . Then we crawl onto another biscuit and other.
This is a weevil they go in old flour , sugar and salt.
This year in Term 1 + 3 we have been doing lots of Art. My favourite piece of Art was the Google maps . We had to cut out all of our pieces to glue on I thought we had properly done more than one hundred. Then we had to glue them all on it took so long that my hands started shaking.
Kia ora , another cold day in Taupo, so we decided to go prawn fishing. Firstly, this lovely young man called John did a tour, explaining how little prawns grow and how to catch them at the pond. On the tour he told us the story about the biggest prawn to every live - it got stuck in a pipe and died. You can tell if it is a male or female, because the male is bigger and has bright blue pincers. The female is smaller and has lighter blue pincers. Mum caught the female and Dad caught the male. Also we cooked them in cook house.
We bumped into Mel and Stuart and got hot chips!
That was all our prawn fishing, hope you all enjoy your holiday!
During, the holiday we drove down to Taupo. It was 7.5 hours drive down but we enjoy listening to David Walliams! The Next Day we were up bright and early and we went mountain biking . It was a blast ! It really help because I got a new bike on the way down to Taupo. After 4 days in Taupo we drove to Rotorua , it was a 1 hour drive from Taupo. Rotorua has amazing Mountain biking trails. That was our Mountain Biking, hope you all enjoy your holiday too.
Last week, we made kites as a class for Matariki. We made them out of sustainable products such as flax and sticks. It was very fun but we made a lot of mess. First we had to get into groups of 3 or 4.Then plan our kites how we wanted them to look.
First we wove flax into mats, then we made frames for them out of bamboo. We had to saw the bamboo so it would fit the mat. It was super fun. Also we had a special helper Malikah’s Mum called Casia.
Casia brought in coconut string, which we used a lot of . We had a blast!
