29th Monday June Lemons

Today we learn to   use our senses to write descriptively.

•  To me it smells like the gin and tonic that my Mum pours on a Saturday night.
• The lemon feels like a bit of sandpaper .
• It looks like a rain drop, bright yellow.
• It sounds like the ocean if you put it put it ti your ear real close.
• When I first licked it was bitter all over me.

Powder cut

This week  we had a powder cut. Mum and Alec were reading and   Dad was having a shower.
We put our candles out and ate dinner in the dark we had spaghetti bolognese we have gas so we got to keep on cooking.
 Before the powder went back on Mum and Dad said we could roast marshmallow. Alec and l were like "No no" can we still do it . Mum and Dad said " Yes".
