28th Tuesday Jan

After a day at Taupo Bay, I completed 30 lengths, 10 sets of 3, which included:

1 freestyle
1 butterfly
1 breaststroke

I enjoyed this session, as I swam more than I thought I would.  I also competed against Dad who was doing burpee jumps, while I finished my last 2 sets.

26th Sunday Jan

Today I completed 24 lengths.  This comprise of:

2 lengths of butterfly, then a rest
2 lengths of freestyle, followed by a break
2 lengths of breaststroke, followed by a short break

I repeated this 4 times.  Here are some videos:

25th Saturday Jan

Today I got out of my bed to train. I completed 7 sets of 4 lengths. This comprised of :

1 butterfly
1 breast stroke
2 freestyle

I wasn't very keen to get up this morning but I do to and I felt  energised!!

24th Thursday Jan

Today I completed 8 sets of 3 .Each  set consisted of :

1 breast stoke
1 freestyle
1 butterfly

It  was a little hard because my goggles broke and I didn't have a cap either.

22nd Jan Wednesday

Today l completed 4 sets of 5.
Each set was :

3 freestyle
2 breast stoke

I had a sore ear, but  I managed it. I put blutac in my ear to protect it!

Tuseday 21th Jan

Today l didn't swim because l went to Taupo Bay. There were really huge waves.
My goal was to ride the wave not the wash.  l managed to ride a few waves and now l know how it feels . It is like you are flying.
My Dad pushs me on the waves, but l need to practices paddling onto the waves.

19 Sunday Jan

Today  l didn't trained but l still swan.  l swan with brother Alec and we had lost of fun!!
I helped Alec with his diving and his stroke.

Saturday 18th Jan



Today I swam 30 lenghts overall!  I satrted with 3 sets of 6 lenghts.  These lenghts consisted of:
2 Butterfly
2 Free-style
2 Breast-stroke




Dad was still training, so i did 6 lenghts of free  style.  I swam a lenght and my rest was to walk back to the start.  My fasted time was 22.36


I still had more energy so I decided to do another 6 free stlye.  This gave me a total of 30 lenghts for the session.

16th Thursday Jan

Today l want to work on speed. Therefore, l completed 10 sets  of 2 freestyle lengths.  l had one minute rest in between sets.






I Had completed 20 lenghts but wanted to add 5 more on to enable my training to take me to 500m




I felt good after doing the extra 5 lenghts so decided to do some sprints of freestyle. My times got faster:
1st lenght: 24.53
2nd lenght 24.66
3rd lenght 23:66

I completed an extra two lenghts
1st Buterfly: 32.25
2nd Breast Stroke: 37.17

IT WAS A GREAT SESSION!!!

15th Wednesday 2020 Jan

Today l completed 7sets of 3 which included :

1 butterfly
1 freestyle
1 breast stroke





9th Jan 2020

Today l didn't train because I was invited to spend the day on my brother's friends boat.  We had lots of fun riding the biscuit at the back of boat!  Here's a video of Alec and I falling off:

Today I completed an afternoon session.  The session consisted of 5 sets of 5 lenghts.

Each set consisted of:

1 Butterfly
2 Freestyle
2 Breast stroke

7th Jan Tuesday

Today l completed 6 sets of 4.

These consisted of:

1 Butterfly
1 Free Style
1Breast Stroke
1 Free Style

I found today difficult as I was not in the right frame of mind.  My goal will be to do a short but fast training session with my Dad tomorrow.

5th Jan Sunday

Today l completed 8 sets of 3 . The set consisted of :

1 Back stoke
1 Breast stoke
1 Freestyle

Also, my Grandma was with me, she timed me.   My fasted time was 1 minutue 37 seconds.







2nd Jan Thursday

Today l  swam 5 setsof 5 . The sets consisted of:

1 Butterful
2 freestyle
2 Breast stroke

1st January

I changed my training today.  I completed 7 sets of 4 lenghts.  The 4 lengths comprised of:
1 Butterfly
2 Free style
1 Breast Stroke.
