During the holidays, we drove down to Whitianga. We went to stay at our friends house called Kate and Daryl. It took us 7 hours to make it to Whitianga. When we were in the car, we listened to Roald Dahl- "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".
The next day, we went to New Chums beach. It was very cool because we climbed over rocks. Also, my Dad went for a swim in the freezing cold water. I think it was as cold as a frozen iceberg.

This rock is called seal rock.
It was a long drive, but it was worth it! I loved listening to 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.' Great video showing our boulder walk; it was a fun day!
