Part 2 Cutting Alec's Hair 31st May Sunday 2020

On Sunday, I decided that I was going to cut Alec's hair. The reason for this is that we have school photos on  Tuesday.

Firstly, I went in with  a number 2 guard around the sides.
Secondly, I blended the back of this hair in section's.
Thirdly, I checked that it was all even and I trimmed the top.

Descriptive writing about Millions of Migrating Monarchs

Mexico is a very important  place because 140 million  monarchs butterflies  come and  mate and  migrate here every year.

When I saw the video the Jungle  had bright green trees.The Monarch butterflies are bright orange like oranges.The  plants were Milkweed and Native wildflowers.  On the tree it probably looks like moss but ten thousand  Monarch butterflies are on each tree. It

looks incredible.

They sound like a nice and quiet waterfall. You can hear them from 10km  away. If you touched them , it would feel glossy like a book cover. However, you would need to be careful because they have really delicate wings.

Overall Mexico is important because butterflies migrate and mate .They keep flowers alive and make us happy.

The House that Dan Built

12th May Tuesday

My Dad printed a picture off the internet . It was about a boat, lake and trees.

Also I  decided to write  and draw a picture about it .

Story 

On one spring day, blue sky and bright green grass from the winter rain.

If I own this piece of land  I would make a jetty. So we can jump off it !

The river has fish in it for example  salmon and trout .

If I had the property I would have a barn three horse , chickens , cows and a dog .

  

Beach Day 7.5.2020

It was a hot sunny day, Jim and Emily were going to the beach,  with their Mum and Dad. 

When they got there they put their togs on. 

They ran down to the beach and dived right in -splish splash- it was as clear as a crystal. However, Jim pushed Emily under the water because he thought it would be a great joke.

Mum and Dad came running, 

“ Jim! What have you done?!” 

“I pushed her under. I didn’t mean to,” he replied in a scared voice. Luckily, Emily popped right up spluttering everywhere. Dad said in a panicked voice,

 “We have got to take her to the hospital!”

Dad called the ambulance 111.  Nee naw, nee naw, nee naw, the ambulance came and took her to the hospital. 

When Emily got there she was ok, but Jim felt terrible.

When they go to the beach now, Jim knows not to push Emily under the water, and also Mum and Dad are going to be watching them at all times.

Gardening 30th April

Yesterday we went to Bloomfield's.
We bought celery, silver beet, leeks and broad beans.

We put the  silver beet and celery in the veg patch because it is  fenced around  so the chicken can't get in.

Then we also planted leeks and broad beans in the retaining wall  because the chickens don't like leeks and broad beans.

Tomorrow we are going to broccoli.
